The Social Marketplace
As Capacity Catalyst for The Social Marketplace, I was responsible for ensuring all social enterprises were investment ready. This involved bringing them through capacity building workshops, helping them put together financial information and pitches as well as matching them with suitable mentors.
I matched the enterprises after building an extensive network of experienced mentors from a diverse range of organisations including Social Traders, The School of Social Entrepreneurs, PwC and Westpac Foundation.
About the event:
The Social Marketplace was an event run by The Centre for Social Impact. It was aimed at enhancing awareness of social impact investing in Australia. Attendees are given the unique opportunity to play The Social Marketplace game: A simulated market where social enterprises and social finance products are put into a ‘trading room’ and attendees are invited to invest.
